Working Conditions

The first trial lesson is free. Then the lessons are 50 min. for adults or 30/45 min. for children. Cost:
50 min. - 30$ / 75 GEL
30 min. - 25$ / 55 GEL

Due to my high workload, I work without cancellations, except for my vacations. This is due to the fact that if I cancel a lesson, I am forced to put other students at this time, but after your return, I will then have to refuse the student who came. Transfers depending on the availability of time.

Choosing an Instrument

For any format of lessons you will need an instrument. There are three options: a regular piano, a digital (electronic piano), a synthesizer. A regular instrument is best suited for training. The fact is that a digital piano is only a replacement for a live one, from which key functions are almost removed, such as live sound, richness of colors, the necessary sensitivity of the keys, etc. At the same time, a synthesizer was not initially created as an instrument for learning on the keyboard, but as an object for creating electronic music, synthesizing sounds (as well as entering music into a computer). It almost always has a different key mechanics than a piano and often the sound functions differ from the piano and are poorly suited for training. However, in the modern world it is sometimes difficult or impossible to accommodate a live instrument. Then the choice of an electronic one becomes a reasonable alternative (the synthesizer is still unwanted), which will be suitable for the first years of training.

It is better to choose a regular piano with a tuner, whose contacts in Russia, Georgia and Israel I can provide.

Good entry-level models of electronic pianos with minimum specifications to start lessons in 2024: Yamaha p 45, Casio s100 (and higher), Roland FP 10. The main characteristics of these instruments that the one you buy should have: piano hammer action, sensitivity of keys to the velocity of pressing (they should sound louder or quieter depending on the force of touch), full-size keyboard.

Remember that there are rentals of electronic pianos, as well as tutoring with live instruments.
