Parents send their children to learn piano to acquire important skills and abilities, a favorite activity, the ability to play for others and captivate them with their playing. In order to help them achieve this goal, I am engaged in the development of the integral musical personality of the student.
This includes all types of technology of any level, musical ear, music theory, musical notation, as well as more general psychological skills and abilities, such as artistry, love of music, self-confidence and faith in oneself, calmness during performance and, most importantly, musicality. In this sense, the student and teacher's understanding of themselves and music, the pedagogical process plays a major role; serious attention is paid to psychological processes in the lesson, since they are the most important part of the student's progress. Elements of psychoanalysis and musical analysis are included in the work (I have more than 7 years of personal psychoanalysis experience).
The learning process is based on playing the instrument and the playful form of possible explanations. In accordance with age, all theoretical discussions are minimized.
I do not do dry memorization of techniques, the so-called drill, or as one of my teachers put it: "sport pianism". Everything goes through the process of expressing yourself through sounds and sometimes words, which makes it more interesting and enjoyable. Such work is deeply individual and usually requires a long time. We jointly build each lesson and action plan, which allows us to choose pieces and genres, the pace of learning, the degree of immersion in the topic together.
Unfortunately, teachers almost always do not know how to work in the psychological (and as a result, musical) area, which significantly worsens the quality of classes.
